Excellent dental care!! Today was the first time I can say I had the best dental experience ever. As a person who had so much anxiety about dental appointments the doctor today took the time to not only put my at ease but my my experience fun, who knew a dental appointment and filling good be such a good time. Between allowing me to play music, making laugh and talking me through my treatment I felt safe and comfortable. Eva my always favourite dental assistant was on hand to make sure I was in great hands too!! Thank you all !!! Front of office staff kind and polite as always too! P.S Dr. Gustavo thank you 🙏🏻 for putting my mind at ease and making my daughter and I have a great day today.

I have had both good and bad experiences at this location. When I arrived for my appointment with my 8 week old son the front staff was fantastic. Richard marked me as arrived with a warm greeting and a friendly smile. My hygienist Patricia was welcoming and helped me maneuver my stroller into the exam room. I would like to mention that the rooms are narrow and although a stroller can fit into the room, it’s a tight fit. Patricia was fabulous in deciding how to make this a short but productive appointment. When my son became fussy as 8 week old babies do, Patricia was non-judgmental and suggested she get the dentist to review my X-rays from last year and he can quickly look at my teeth. I thought this was a great plan! Well let me tell you, I wish I never met the dentist. He continually made passive aggressive comments about how I should have gotten a babysitter for my appointment. Now I admit having the baby at the appointment wasn’t ideal but I had confirmed with staff prior to arriving that this was allowed as they are Mapleview FAMILY dentistry. However the dentist made me feel like a screw up and like I did something wrong as both a patient and a new mother. Not everyone has the means to afford childcare. Not everyone knows a trusted individual to watch their baby. These comments should have stayed as inside thoughts. I would like to express my appreciation to the employee who reached out after my appointment to see if I was okay. You noticed I was upset upon leaving my appointment and had enough compassion to reach out. Thank you for the gesture. I won’t say if this is a good or bad dental office but I do believe that if you have young kids this may not be the right fit for you and your family.

The Mapleview Dental team are absolutely the best. They feel like family. Shout out to Richard and the "Welcome Team" at the front desk. My fantastic, fabulous hygienist Ula, you are the best! All the gain of clean with no pain.
