Dr. Erik Stancofski is a 5 star doctor with great bedside manner, besides being a terrific surgeon. We feel extremely fortunate to have him as our surgeon. He answered all of our questions and explain the procedure that may be necessary.
On Wednesday May 10 2023 I had the utmost pleasure of running into Dr Stancofski in a complete Emergency Situation 1. The circumstances are as follows . At approximately 3:55 pm i was leaving Beebe hospital with my wife and my 84 year old father who is in stage 4 of Cancer Treatment for Merkle Cell Carcinoma an extremely aggressive form of cancer thats being treated with immunotherapy { Keytruda ) . After several adverse side effects his Doctor at Tunnel Cancer Center ( wonderful Center) determined that he needed a CT scan and was ordered such at Beebe Hospital at 1:45 pm on the 10th of May . After a long appointment we were leaving with dad around 3:45 pm . After switching wheel chairs to our own and exiting to the parking Garage level 2 dad attempted to stand from his wheel chair and get in to back of vehicle. As he stood he had another body spasm and rose from his wheel chair when he lost footing on his left side as to the downward grade and fell flat backwards on to his back in to a car and the hard concrete bouncing his head off of concrete and being stuck under an adjacent car . At almost the same time Dr Stancofski was pulling up in his private car and saw Dad screaming on ground and sprang into action. He went in to full Trauma mode and stabilized dad while someone called for a rapid response ! If it wasn't for Dr Stancofski jumping into action Dad's injuries could have been much worse ! What a wonderful Doctor and a Man ! Thank God we have Doctor's like him around Much Thanks Doc !!!!!!!
I could not be happier and more grateful To Dr Eric Stancofski. From prep to leaving the Rehoboth Surgical Hospital and having my gallbladder removed was a total of 4 hours and I was even second in line I’m in absolutely no pain at all 3 hours after. His skill is 5 stars and I could go even more stars if I could. I FEEL LIKE A NEW MAN!! Thank you Dr Stancofski and all the nurses who assisted. I love❤️ you all!!!
