Tried this place for the first time and I must say that the pizza is really great. We had the tavern style with sausage and pepperoni and it was fantastic. We also tried the deep dish and I didn't have much expectation for this as there are so many great places that do deep dish so well. I was shocked at how good it was. Honestly what holds it back from being as good as say Geno's or Lou's is the crust. The crust in those places are as good as the pizza is and I just can't say that about Beggars. Thin crust is a solid 10 though and realistically that would be what I would order on a regular basis.

I am a huge fan of beggars. Love their pizza. This was my first time at this location. Food and atmosphere were good but the service was poor. Took forever to have a waitress visit our table. And, the restaurant was not very busy which was surprising for a Saturday night. Also, the waitress forgot to bring me my drink and I had to find someone else to help me. I saw three servers just standing talking in the bar area. I mistook one of them as our waitress. But, she found our waitress and had her deliver my drink. She did not even apologize for forgetting my beverage. And, it took a while for her to bring us our check. Had the restaurant been busy, I could have understood. But there were probably only four or five other tables occupied. I think some additional training would be helpful.

Stopped here to get pizza after a concert and it was perfect! First our server(Harlie) was AMAZING! Friendly with a Great attitude and on top of our refills and prebussing! I managed restaurants for over a decade and she is kind of server I would have loved on my staff! Second the pizza was great but even better was the dough bites!!! At only $5 they are a must try!!! We will most definitely stop here again when we are in the area!!!

Beggars pizza very very cheesy pizza. My husband and son split the bacon medium thin crust. They said it was absolutely delicious. I had an order of meatballs which was very tasty and only $1.99 great price for meatballs. The atmosphere is very nice. The restaurant looks completely remodeled. Very clean on the inside, and a very friendly waitress that took care of us. We will definitely come back again, the food is fabulous!
