Highly recommend Belru for any of your construction needs. The guys recently removed old stucco and replaced it with board and batten on back half of the house. Moved some outdoor lighting and Painted the whole house. The whole process was smooth and all the guys were professional and nice. With any construction process, we ran into a few problems once things were uncovered but they gave me fast quotes to fix and kept the process moving along. The project managers. Vadim and Benjamin were easy going. and didn’t over complicate anything. Overall would hire them again for my next home project.

Ben, Vlad, and team were great! We found ourselves needing to get our bathroom completely redone after an unfortunate leak. Ben was willing to take on our project. He took time that week to check out the space and met with me a few days later. We had a specific look we were hoping to obtain to keep the woodsy feeling of our Tahoe home, and Vlad was extremely helpful when I was picking out everything. The communication was top notch from our project manager, Vlad, and the daily log I received was great because we lived 6+ hours away. I loved seeing the progress. They executed my vision perfectly! Belru Contruction was one of four companies we interviewed to rebuild the interior of our water-devastated condo in the North Tahoe area. We chose them for three reasons: they were very approachable and attentive to our challenge, they offered to do the work at a very reasonable price, and being based in Roseville, they were not too far from Tahoe to have the General Manager be onsite on a regular basis. We sensed that Ben and Lily Ivakhov were a great team, with Ben being a reliable, responsive manager of the construction crew and Lily providing sensitive and pragmatic design advice. We also got the idea that Dmitriy Trepachko, the owner of Belru Construction, would lend his executive direction as needed. All of our assumptions were correct. Ben kept a skilled construction crew on site and the work on budget even when we had epic snow conditions on the roads, difficulties with onsite laydown/staging areas, and other delays imposed by Placer County inspectors and the Homeowners Association (HOA). We worked with Belru Construction to work past these delays so well that the HOA considered our project a “model” they wish other condo owners would emulate, and Placer County expedited final approvals and even rebated us “lost value” in our property tax bill. Belru Construction was wonderful working with our insurance company, which originally offered such an unbelievably low reimbursement amount that we had to push back very quickly and clearly to prove the repair costs were almost ten times the amount they offered. We got terrific support from Belru Construction with an alternative estimate to make our case, excellent photo documentation of the true nature of the damage, and meticulous progress reports showing how well Belru Construction remediated the problem, with invoices our insurance company could easily accept and process for reimbursement. We only had a few minor change orders, generated by us, and Belru Construction kept well within our overall budget. I only cite one example of Belru Construction absorbing one change-order cost without charging us to demonstrate how well we all worked together toward a very satisfying solution. Three final, major points: 1) the “extras” we added to our bid beyond repairing and rebuilding the damage made our condo a “dream” place that we thoroughly enjoy, 2) Belru Construction’s design support and sensitivity throughout was remarkably sophisticated and collaborative, and 3) we understand that our project was the single biggest construction project this ambitious and “young” team had ever taken on at this point. Yes – that seems like a risk, in retrospect, but that risk paid off well!
