Do not waste your time with the BBB. After taking up useless energy and time to file all their paperwork, they assure you of nothing at all. They advise that even if the business does not respond to your complaint there is nothing they can do to take it any further but to publish that the business has not responded. That is highly unhelpful in todays day and age where an unhappy customer can simply write a review on the company’s website ; instagram account; tiktok account; facebook page, google reviews etc… Sometimes controlled opposition is better than a total revolt so this is why this agency is in place. Take matters into your own hands and stand your ground if you have been mistreated and stolen from.

What’s the point of complaining about a company when the BBB takes the company’s side? My complaint was that I have called in to a certain company for YEARS to remove me from their mailing list. They haven’t yet. The BBB closed the complaint because the company said they would take me off their list, which they haven’t done in YEARS! Too bad you can’t complain about the BBB but this one star will have to do Update…never said email. Please learn to read. I said MAILING list which means mail, no email. Thx

I thought I wanted to become a BBB member, but my experience as a business owner made me realize that they did not protect me from a very bad hotel experience I had to go through. The least they did was look into it, and although my credit card was charged $200, it took over 7 days to reverse the charges. Still I am out $100 because I had to go to a new hotel. After their investigation, I felt degraded. BBB is only here for one purpose, to make money. I will never apply for membership through these guys because of my experience. My google reviews are more accurate. Problems never seem to get resolved using them, so don’t waste your money.
