They close complaints just because a company finally calls you, even though the company never did anything to honor the warranty or provide an update to the warranty repair, the company said they will contact their repair department and contact me back by Monday, well it is Friday and no contact yet the BBB closes the complaint stating a good faith attempt to resolve the issue, I wanted my money back, or a computer in working order and compensation for wasting hours of my time getting the run around. The BBB got the same resolution I did, I have got this so called resolution 6 times now where I was told I will be contacted with an Update only to never hear a thing again, the BBB appears to side with the big companies and not help consumers.

The BBB knowing allows false and fraudulent claims to be submitted where customers admit they never spent money with the business, but request money for "travel and time." The BBB does nothing but allow false extortionary claim to be filed against any company that refuses to pay the BBB to become a member. They are nothing more than a for-profit company who have zero issues posting inflammatory and libelous comments and writings about companies.

The BBB is designed to bring down any businesses that do not pay for their accreditation. They do not have any enforcement power, so if you’re a business, it’s best to just ignore them. Ignore their emails, and hang up on them when they call. They can’t do anything about it.

10-16-2025 Axe Mi Tax makes perfect sense now. Seems the BBB won’t investigate your local townships when you’ve been taxed as a non resident for over 3 decades, and the township owes you multiple thousands of dollars. I sure hope the kickback was worth it. I would turn in Signature Toyota in Benton Harbor Michigan for shoddy repairs, but you’re not going to do anything anyway - hope this doesn’t happen to you.
