Big Tomato is a local joint that been around during our youth years and now our adult years. It’s one of those places that you never regret ordering or spending money there. The food is great and the staff is even greater. Every time I ask for a clean knife to be used to cut my pizzas do to religious and dietary reasons, they do it and are very respectful caring people. Visiting sister-in-law, in Des Moines. Wanted to try a local pizza. This was the only place open at 2 AM. Just got my pizza and the barbecue chicken pizza. It's amazing.

Wow! It's still the great tasting pizza I remember from my good ol dayz. The service was awesome, and the pizza slices generous. Can't wait to go back.

I ordered a honey garlic and alfredo (most would assume a completely whiteish pizza) and i got a slice back with pepperoni and green peppers. Worker said they were going to check, and proceeded to open and immediately close the oven he was supposedly “checking” . Coworker ordered the same thing and DID get the correct pizza, but when i picked up a slice from the $20 pizza the slice flopped and the entire cheese fell off. I get it you’re the only pizza open at 2am but at least have SOME standards
