Had now 2 bad experiences with my gold rope chain. The first time I got it repaired it cost $20 and the chain broke again in the same place within the day. I later went back to get it fixed. They now charged $30? I said it was fine and payed the $30. I come back the next day to pick up my chain. I noticed not only is the chain fixed, but it's warped. And it also all of a sudden is slightly broken on the other end, basically hanging by a thread ready to break again? Very weirded out I went back within the hour and asked them to completely fix the chain since I payed $30 for it and it isn't really fixed, came back more warped. Got accused of it being another chain. The man said I brought back a different chain. Took his time to remeasure it to show me where he fixed it on the other chain, ended up being exactly where it was warped. ITS THE SAME CHAIN. And refused to fix it without me paying him another $30. If I pay for my chain to get fix, fix it the first time around. And don't give it back to the customer more broken expecting more money. Truely disappointed. The first picture is the chain where it came back broken and the other picture is the warped side that they fixed. Hard to take a picture, but it looks like a someone took a welder to a gold chain.
Great service, their watchmaker there is exceptional. I had him work on at least 10 breitling and he knows his stuff.
