Stopped in for a bit of lunch. Prices were very fair. We each got a soup (different kinds), both lovely. The cheese scone was hands down the best I’ve ever had — would come back just to eat another one. The cakes were delightful, plenty of options. It was bright inside even on a somewhat gray day. There is a nice looking patio/garden space for the warmer months.
I visited this cafe with my mum at about 3pm on Friday 27 September 2024. Buried away in the village of Easton-on-the-Hill, about 100m from the main road this is an absolute gem. A former primary school has been converted into a lovely, smart cafe with car parking and plenty of seating inside and outside, weather permitting. We just had tea and fruit scones with cream and jam. The scones were possibly the loveliest I've tasted anywhere and, believe me, I've eaten a few! The lady serving was really friendly. This place certainly deserves to be a success. You get the impression it has been created and is run with lots of love and caring. We would definitely recommend.
10/10. There’s a little play area for toddlers which has low tables, books, a play kitchen and loads of other toys. The food and service is very good. Prices are reasonable too. Decent parking and has a good outside area. Will be coming back 100%
