Customer experiences
I have been attending the Automotive Training Centre since May, and so far my experience has been excellent. The school provides a great balance of classroom learning and hands-on shop training. My teacher, Vince, is an outstanding automotive instructor—his teaching style makes complex concepts easy to understand, and he always takes the time to guide us in the shop. I’ve also really enjoyed working with my classmates, who make the learning environment supportive and motivating. Overall, I’m very happy with my decision to study here and would highly recommend this school to anyone interested in automotive training.
Attending Automotive training centre is the best decision i have ever made. The teachers there are very supportive especially, Vince he gave me almost everything i need for this trade. I am very grateful to the entire school management. By Ebrima
Extremely overpriced school, useless education and “Diploma” in the automotive industry for advancement. (This is a Hobby School) False promises, a cheap laptop that struggles to operate the schools software, tool package that no where near accounts for the cost paid for the school. Let’s not forget the state of the shop where all the tools are badly maintained and damaged. I had bought my own tools so I could get the full use of my “education” and time in the shop. Since graduation I’ve had Interviews with 3 dealerships which advised the school does not have a favourable reputation and if need further education . The computer modules were all over the place (one week engine the next electrical) spelling and grammatical errors were everywhere and made some tests like a guessing game due to improper grammar…Some items were asked to be overlooked as the software was made in Sweden. It’s a full time program that is 4 hours a day and 45 minutes of the start of class was watching YouTube videos. There are some good teachers there, but you can pick up they are miserable with the curriculum also. The Management staff is disorganized beyond belief and micromanaging the teachers. Teachers being pulled out of lessons to assist with personal vehicles (The schools director knows nothing about cars) Since graduating an extra 7k was tacked on to my student loan. The school can’t seem to rectify that hence my review because I’ve exhausted my attempts to sort this out quietly. CBC Marketplace is interested in knowing more though. My review stands and I will not take it down, potential students need to be warned of this money grab and sham that I also found out is NOT recognized as a trade school by the ministry. Do your research, go to centennial and save your money. Student that graduated in good standing …
My name is Saeed Ibrahim I’m Student at the Automotive training Centre I always come to the class from 8am to 12 I really feel noticeably progress and I enjoy this very much . This progress is due to the inspiring teacher in his unique way. Thanks teacher Vince
