My son’s birthday was this weekend, and what started as a mistake turned into something truly special. He had long hair and wanted a birthday cut, so we went to a big chain—and I immediately regretted it. After paying, tipping, and leaving disappointed, I searched “barber shop” in my maps and just drove. When we arrived, the woman at the front kindly asked if I had an appointment. I explained that my son had just had his hair cut elsewhere and I was hoping someone could fix it and add the design he’d wanted. Even though she had an appointment coming in, she took my son anyway. She didn’t just fix his hair—she transformed it. The design was amazing, and the confidence it gave him lit up his entire weekend. He smiled nonstop and kept talking about his experience there. Every barber in the shop told him happy birthday, and he felt so seen and celebrated. To top it all off, she didn’t even charge me. I didn’t catch her name, but her kindness, talent, and generosity meant more than she probably knows. She’s earned a loyal client for as long as I’m in Tulsa. This place is something special.

Shelbs is by far the most attentive barber I have ever been to. She really care about the product she puts out. I could go on and on about all the ways the experience is just better but you will have to find out for yourself. Can’t wait to go back and get fresh again.
