Blue Planet Plumbing

I had a great experience with Blue Planet Plumbing. My initial contact was with Sam and he was very responsive. However, I did have some challenges having the scheduling department follow up. However, I am glad that I stayed with Blue Planet. Mike came out and installed my whole house filtration unit and did an amazing job. He was very competent, solution oriented, and was very customer service oriented. I would definitely use Blue Planet again.

I chose Blue Planet not only for their dedication to the environment but the customer reviews were in the thousands. They’ve been doing business in the area for two decades, and to me that means they must be invested in their work. I was able to book online which is so convenient, but I also got prompt replies when I reached out via phone. I was even given a photo of my plumber before he showed up which I appreciate for safety reasons. All in all I found everyone I interacted with professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They did great work and I highly recommend them!

On Monday morning at opening of business I called to request a plumber to fix a leak in the drain under my kitchen sink. The earliest time a technician was available was 3-5 Wednesday afternoon. Pablo arrived about 4:00 and made a temporary repair because he did not have the necessary tools and fittings with him. Pablo gave an estimate for the repair and a new appointment was set up for the following Monday afternoon between 3-5 for a technician to come and actually fix the problem. Mike arrived about 2:00 Monday afternoon (a week after I had called) in a normal fully equipped van that had all the tools, supplies, and fittings needed. He assessed the needed repairs, used the plastic pipes, fittings, and adhesive he had on his truck to complete the repair up to code. Mike worked efficiently and carefully using the tools and materials he had on his fully stocked van. The repairs that Mike made exceeded the estimate I was given the prior Wednesday but that initial estimate was honored. Both Pablo and Mike were polite, considerate, and competent and I have no reservations about either of them and would be glad to have them do work for me in the future. However, I am disappointed that Blue Planet plumbing would have dispatched a technician (no matter how competent) without the basic fittings, supplies, and equipment necessary to fix a basic under sink drain leak. As it was, it took two visits and a week to get the problem repaired. Again, my issue is not with the technicians, but rather with Blue Planet's policy of sending out a technician without the basic supplies and equipment needed to do the job.
