Customer experiences
Nice spacious inside and quick service. The space was ventilated nicely and the workers were friendly. Slightly limited menu and drink options, and there were no flavored lattes available. The mocha I got was kind of syrupy tasting and my boyfriend got an almond milk latte, which I thought was gross. Not because this place made it poorly but because almond milk is nasty to me.
Visited this café for the first time, and the experience left me with mixed feelings. I asked for a macchiato, and the barista asked if I had come from Starbucks. I thought he meant it in terms of drink size, so I said yes. Later, I realized it was tied to frustration...apparently, people from the Starbucks next door were coming over just to use the restroom... I hadn't known Starbucks wasn't nearby. I even commented, “Well, that’s more business for you,” trying to offer a positive spin. But he replied that the people in line weren’t buying anything. Fair enough, but if that’s the issue, then those who do purchase something should be given priority. I was a paying customer, along with my friend, and we waited in a line that snaked through the store, only to eventually give up and leave. But he was alone so I completely understand. I ordered a latte instead of the macchiato, and while it was drinkable, it wasn’t made with love. The ambiance was nice, but the overall energy felt off. What really stood out was when another woman came in behind me and ordered, and when she said she hadn’t come from Starbucks, he smiled and said, “Well, in that case, I’m really glad you’re here.” That felt passive-aggressive and unnecessary. Customers shouldn't feel judged or dismissed. My bad for misunderstanding the question..I guess. Would I come back? Probably not. Maybe for the ambiance, but certainly not for the hospitality.
Yummy and calm coffee shop, love the seating and table for extra milk or syrup almost feels like a do your own. Financier is dense and delicious, other pastries look good too.
Simple menu but the coffee tastes very good. I ordered a bold brew and a hot latte. The staff was very kind and asking if I need a room for milk for my cold brew. I drink/buy a lot of coffee and not many store asking for that anymore. They also have a nice self serve station where you can add milk/oat milk/cream/skim milk also Vanilla syrup. Which cost extra in most of the coffee shop, in here no extra cost. I also got the confetti cookie, it was good! There a lot of sitting indoor and public restroom accessible. It’s a good place to hang out or working with laptop. Highly recommend this coffee shop!
