Loved the experience. A friend just bought this restaurant and I have to say I would highly recommend a visit. I'm not sure if I appreciated the service or the food more both were spectacular. The restaurant is nestled right behind the Trump Tower in downtown Chicago.

We stopped at Bongiorno Cucina Italiana & Pizzeria for lunch after the River Architectural Cruise and a visit to Millennium Park, and it was a great choice! We ordered the Italian beef sandwich, which was delicious (cheese and giardiniera are an extra $1 each), and a 10" Americana pizza, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. For dessert, we enjoyed a gelato and sorbetto, both refreshing and delicious. The restaurant itself was a little hard to find, tucked behind the Trump Hotel, but it was worth the effort. The wait staff were friendly and welcoming, which added to the experience. Overall, this was a 5-star experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ excellent food, great service, and a cozy spot that’s worth seeking out.

I have been here twice. The first time was in the evening with in an hour of when hoodie said they close but they stayed open later than 9pm on Saturday. This is the best pasta sauce I have tasted. I have bought the rustic pizza both times. The flavors are amazing. The food is cooked fresh and is piping hot. I prefer the pizza to the pasta. The pastas are very simple. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It’s super cute.

Food was great. Great pizza crust! We had the Windy City special (beef and giardiniera). Daughter had the pasta and it was very good. Great table service. Great staff. Too bad it started raining and patio was closed but in the end worth it!
