R PNot sure why this garage has a high rating, I walked out within seconds. Told the guy what the issue was, before they've done the work, £130 diagnostic fee. But what are you diagnosing exactly? I showed you what the problem is, snapped bonnet cable. You want to charge me £130 to tell me something I have already told you. This is a common fault on a TT. I know, I'm on my 4th. Not once in more than 20 years have I been charged a diagnostic fee for work undertaken at the same garage that is doing the diagnosing, let alone when there is no diagnosing to do. You only pay a diagnostic fee if they diagnose the problem and you dont get the work done at that garage. He must think I am an absolute mug as I am not a man. Women beware, I believe this garage will take advantage of you. Midnight masterfix will probably charge me less than £130 in total, not just to diagnose, I don't know why I tried elsewhere
