I am incredibly unhappy and frustrated with this vet clinic. I have a cat that has severe behavioural issues. I have taken him to multiple vets, gotten x-rays, urine tests, altered his diet, got him medication, and used pheromone therapies. Nothing helped. The humane society concluded there was nothing medically wrong, and that they couldn't take him due to capacity, and with the nature of his behavioural issues couldn't keep him regardless. He would be euthanized. And with almost all other shelters around at or near capacity, with his behavioural issues, he would not be high priority. I was out of options. I agonised over the decision but finally decided to have him euthanized. It was not an easy decision. When I finally got to the vet, after stressing and agonising over this decision, Dr. Kang would not do the euthanasia procedure for me. He felt there was more I could do, yet the option he provided had zero guarantees and would take at least a month to see even potential changes if I was lucky. The solution he provided I didn't feel felt reasonable for my problem, and despite my choice to continue with the procedure, he opted out. He sent a vet tech to inform me a tech could proceed but Dr. Kang would not. I felt so overwhelmed and upset I eventually left. I'm stuck unsure what to do with my cat and now have to re-evaluate my options. To disagree with and refuse to administer a procedure I have stressed and cried over on the day of my appointment left me feeling incredibly frustrated. If I didn't already feel bad enough, he made me feel worse by choosing not to provide a service and sending someone else to inform me of that. (The techs could administer the procedure, but by now I was full of doubts.) So, if you have an animal and have strained to make the difficult decision, I wouldn't go here, because Dr. Kang will only make you feel worse about the already troubling decision.

I would like to share my experience to you guys. First of all I want to thank Dr. Jammu and his staff for being wonderful with me and my cat. Because this is my first time I have a cat and I didn't have any experience, I became so stressed about my cat situation. They helping and guiding me a lot. Thank you so much for everything.

Yesterday October 8th 2025 at 12:43pm, I had called this vet for a legit question about a rodent, since they take rodents, I waited nearly 10 minutes on hold and got hung up on, as soon as I started my question. Now I had mentioned to the girl on the phone that it might seem like a silly question but I needed guidance. That is not professional in any kind of way. I was thankful I found another vet that was extremely helpful and gave the little guy a shot at life. If your staff can't take someone serious about a rodent question they have, you shouldn't list rodents as one of your specialties. Or educate the staff member that had hung up on me for beginning a question. Edit to add, no it was not a dropped call. You could tell it was clearly hung up. The lady made it clear when she dragged the hand piece against the base of the phone.

10/10 vet. Over the years moving from city to city I haven’t found a vet that actually cares. One of the community cats in our neighbourhood needed an almost full mouth teeth extraction leaving with only 4 of her bottom teeth. dr Jammu and his team provided excellent care to her and I couldn’t be more grateful. Because it was through a rescue I hadn’t met him until the follow up appointment and I was amazed at how well he did with her. This was not transactional, this was a doctor who truly wanted the best for our girl. When I am ready to have my “own” animals again I will be coming here. Again, thank you to you and your team for providing nurturing care to the helpless.
