I had the pleasure today of spending a whole day in longfield delivering a service. As a service provider I see a lot of different homes and when they are great, I always feel it's important to share. The residents are well groomed, and very happy and they smile A LOT, the team know the residents inside out and are able to offer comfort, a friendly face and support. The residents recognise the team as a safe person as they gravitate to them when they need someone to hold space for them. The manager is approachable and kind, with an open door policy. All in all, I highly recommend this beautiful home, and when I say home I mean HOME. They even have a pretty little resident cat that the residents absolutely love. 5 star!

I visit Longfield Care Home as Part of my Role as a trainer. The team members are always enthusiastic, to learn and updated their Knowledge, the whole team from the management, care team, hospitality team, put the people that live in the home at heart of what they do. The team listen to the people living there. Showing Empathy Respect and kindness.

My mum is in this caring residential home. They have a motto in the main office: we work in their home, they don't live in our work. Just about sums up the ethos of the home. Each resident has his or her own room and this can be personalised, if wanted. Not over sized, but ample for most needs. There are usually a couple of stimulating activities each day, but not for too long. There is a lovely, big garden to enjoy, too. Those more physically able will be taken out to the town or shops, as required, too. Food is excellent and good choices and variety. 3 square meals each day. No dumping of relatives in a day room here, either. Freedom to wander around or sit and relax in one of the 5 day lounges. Each has a huge TV for the residents tm watch. I can't say enough good things about the team who work there. All are so very caring and offer mum loads of dignity and respect. We were lucky to find this gem.
