It has been a pleasure working with Brian Gagnon on our real estate transaction, even before we decided to list our Beacon Hill property for sale. Brian originally contacted us three years before, upon the sale of another condo in our building. While we were not interested in selling at that time, Brian understood our reasoning but was undeterred re the possibility of a future sale. He stayed in touch, periodically checking in every 4-6 months to assess our current thinking and to provide an update on the local real estate market. His updates were personable and professional and never did we feel that he was being overbearing or intrusive. As a matter of fact, we told him that we were impressed by his persistence and said that we would give him strong consideration if the time came for us to consider a sale. That time came in the summer of ‘23 when we purchased a home in Newport, R.I. We then decided to downsize and sell our Boston condo and lease a smaller apartment nearby. He listened patiently to our thoughts on price and timetable, added his advice and laid out a compelling marketing plan for the sale. He advised that we wait until the week after Labor Day to list our home. As a result, we received a very attractive bid three days after listing. Brian was also helpful during the negotiation process to reach a final sale price. He was also very helpful during the inspection process and helping to obtain necessary information for Closing.
