Terrible agent. Quick to take your money, but taking 7 months to return a deposit, despite many calls and emails. Despite making a formal COMPLAINT to manager, who said action was being taken to return our rental deposit, however they have been ignoring me the past 6weeks. Avoid this agent at all cost! Had better service with another agent on Duke St.

Unfortunately landlords/sellers never hear what goes on behind the scenes at estate agents. Those searching for properties do, which is why it’s essential, when receiving a poor service, appropriate feedback is left. Twice now I have attempted to view properties listed with this agent. Both times, when trying to complete such a routine task, I have been let down. The first time, when actually managing to get a viewing, albeit not as early as I would have liked, they called to cancel it two hours before I was due to view. This was due to them taking an application on the property therefore cancelling additional viewings. I was disadvantaged due to their viewing availability schedule, or lack of! Clearly this also then limits the amount of applications taken, which should be presented to the landlord, allowing the landlord to have more options on who they feel is the best applicant for their property. Obviously Bridgfords feel this is their decision to make, which in turn allows them to cancel viewings and free up office diaries in what is obviously an understaffed company. Being under staffed was made more evident in the second circumstance. 3 days of calling the office to try and arrange a viewing, leaving 2 voicemails (as instructed by the answer machine) hearing nothing back. When finally getting to speak with someone about arranging a viewing, I was informed they had just taken an application on the property and that it was no longer available. Yet again this limits the options for the landlord not to mention disadvantaging clients who do not have enough time in the day to continuously ring attempting to speak to someone in the office. Obviously voicemails are not getting checked either. An absolutely appalling service.

Avoid, don't waste your time like I did. Called to book a valuation, Rebecca told me a time and date when she could come to see the property. On the day the booking was due, we made sure we were at the property nice and early (bare in mind I have a disability and find it hard to leave the house, let alone travel across town). 15 minutes past the appointment time I called to see if Rebecca was still coming, turns out that there was no viewing booked and she was currently out on another job... strange? we booked that last week. So I waited for a phone call back from her. It turns out, that she didn't even bother to fully book the appointment, so not only did we waste our time and money, we are having to waste our time and money again to go with a different company who might actually bother to do their jobs properly. If they put just as much effort as they do into saying sorry as they did with doing their job, reviews like this wouldn't exist. Disgracefull.
