Tamiko RamirezI was instantly taken by the storefront of this shop. I hoped if the outside of this shop was this adorable then the inside would be just as great. I was glad that I was right. This shop is completely charming from top to bottom. I was in awe of everything I saw. I loved how everything was beautifully presented. If you are looking for a great craft store then Brooklyn Craft Company is the one you are looking for. I loved how the shop had all kinds of craft kits for people of all ages. I loved how the shop has all the tools and supplies that a person needs for sewing and knitting. I loved their embroidery crafts. They have a great supply of yarns and fabrics in a rainbow of colors. The shop even has sewing machines for your projects. I also learned that the shop offers classes for all sorts of crafts. As I said before in my other reviews, there should be more shops like these in New York because it gives people so much joy and wonder.
Keenan LI took a Sewing 101 class here and I can't recommend it enough! Diana was my instructor and she was excellent, I left with a new skirt to wear and the confidence to start using a sewing machine on my own for altering clothes. Both Diana and the other employees in the store helped me pick out fabrics and their favorite supplies for the class and to sew on my own. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

The teacher (Hillary) took the class seriously and imparted skills while at the same time keeping things light and fun. She said we would enter a state of flow and I definitely did. Highly recommend.
