It’s unfortunate that in a city lucky enough to have two great spots for vinyl and other music products, one of them Buds seems to be reacting negatively to the city’s growth. They’ve reportedly been blocking people who are simply commenting on this, which gives the impression that it’s Buds' way or no way. That kind of attitude doesn’t reflect well on them. I’ve even heard people are starting to avoid the shop despite Sunrise actually recommending Buds when they don’t have something in stock. This community is too small for that kind of division. Accept the fact that this town needs to continue to grow.

I’ve been a loyal customer at Bud’s for years and have spent quite a bit there. Unfortunately, my recent experience with their online presence has changed that. A friend of mine commented on Bud’s Facebook page expressing excitement that both Bud’s and another record store in town were having sales on the same day — celebrating what’s a great thing for vinyl collectors in Cornwall. His comment was deleted and he was blocked from the page. When I showed support for him on Facebook and said it was unfortunate, I was blocked as well. It seems that simply acknowledging the other store is not welcome, which is disappointing because having more than one record store in town is good for collectors and for the community. Because of this, I no longer feel comfortable supporting Bud’s, even though I used to enjoy shopping there.

Hands down the best store for music, movies, and collectible items in Cornwall. Staff is friendly and very helpful for what ever you’re looking for. It’s my new go to music store!
