Pro tip for adults: Arrive early and go up to the rooftop for drinks. There are so many good drinks on the menu. There is also some food up there if you are starving!
Raymond G. AriasFriends in Tampa Bay. If you don't know this place, it is Spanish in it's motif and dining experience. When I say Spanish I mean Spain not to be confused with Latin America. You will find tapas inspired small plates. They were hit with us. I've had the pleasure to experience tapas in Spain in different settings and this place is on par with that without having to take the big long plane flight. Would I visit here again? You know I would especially if my friend is paying. Who out there wants to be my friend? You know I'm going to let you pay! Getting serious. The place is open and spacious. The night we were there was a Saturday night and it was not too busy. In fact, I remarked to my spouse. This place seems empty on a Saturday night. What's going on? Like any well-heeled example a place has been around may not be as popular as it once was. This place deserves more popularity. I would encourage you to come visit and try the small plates or tapas. This place does not serve your average everyday Americanized fare. The food here is deliciously different. When I said it good, You should appreciate that. I'm a difficult customer because I'm used to eating very well not just here in the states but around the world.

But we liked the ham croquettes with fig and the eggplant so much that we ordered more. The eggplant was surprisingly light and delicious. I loved the gazpacho . Great experience overall.

Additionally we tried several tapas that were pescatarian friendly. Everything was delicious from the tomatillo hummus, to the octopus, and especially the potatoes. We were promptly seated for our reservation, but parking can be a little challenging.
