Owning a small, independent real estate brokerage involves a lot of moving parts. In today's world, one of the key tools for any business, especially a real estate company, is a dynamic, easy-to-use website that meets all the criteria for the big search engines like Google. I'm not a tech-savvy guy, but I do know what I like, and I also know what appeals to me when I'm browsing the web looking for goods and services. If a website is too complicated to use and is aesthetical unappealing, I quickly continue my search to find another option. Having had three previous websites, all of which were built by different designers with varying degrees of disastrous results, I was website weary and gunshy of starting the process again. However, major issues with our third website left us with very few realistic options. I was bound and determined to find a web designer that would listen to my ideas, understand the needs of our business and translate that information into creating the workhorse of our business. I sent out 5 to 6 inquiries to different webdesigning companies, to which I had exactly one response; Andy and Kristie at Bungalow Web Design. In less than 24 hours, we had exchanged emails and arranged a face-to-face sitdown to gather the information needed to create a game plan. The original idea was to repair and slowly overhaul website #3. Andy and Kristie were honest and upfront from the beginning about what was and was not possible, explaining that the best route may eventually involve building a new website. During that first meeting, Andy and Kristie listened intently and immediately understood our company's needs. In addition, they could conceptualize the aesthetic of what I tried to describe. In addition, they asked all the right questions, which made me realize that they knew their business inside and out. I walked away from that first meeting knowing that I had found the team for the job, even if that entailed building a new website. Throughout the process, Andy and Kristie made the project fun, interactive and EASY! They took my ideas and used them, but when they knew that something wouldn't be an optimum fit for our company goals, they let us know and provided workable solutions. When I didn't understand certain technical aspects of the project, they took the time to explain things to me in layman's terms, making it easy to comprehend. At the end of the day, we're over the moon with our new website. Not only are we happy with the way the new site functions, but the results speak for themselves. Less than two weeks after the launch, we've seen a tremendous increase in traffic and communication from our client base.
