We were absolutely thrilled with the service we received from JB Architecture and we would recommend them highly. We invited Jimmy to come and talk to us about installing a downstairs shower room. After some lengthy discussions about all the different options he carried out a detailed, measured survey of our house and an outline plan for an extension. Once we were sure about what we wanted Jimmy then drew up more detailed plans. This was a good way of keeping costs down in the early stages whilst still exploring options. At every stage we were quoted a cost before proceeding and there were never any surprises. At the detailed design stage Jimmy and Liam had a number of video calls with us to help finesse the final design; they were very responsive to our suggestions but also helped to keep us focussed on costs at all times. Once the design was agreed Liam then did the detailed drawings for buildings regulations and talked us through these. We asked Jimmy and Liam to submit the planning application on our behalf and they liaised with Havant answering their queries. Once planning approval had been given we asked Jimmy to recommend five different builders who we then met and interviewed. Liam reviewed the builder quotes for us to make sure the quotes complied with the specification. We chose a builder from that list and the work commenced about eight months after our initial meeting. The extension is now complete and gives us a superb downstairs shower room but also a new entrance and an extended hallway, which the house really needed as our hall was tiny. We are absolutely delighted with our new building and Jimmy’s design surpassed our expectations! All our neighbours keep telling us how fabulous our house looks. Jimmy and Liam are both easy-going and professional and we really enjoyed working with them.
