Came in just for a quick lunch, stayed for a dessert as We could not resist their home-made cakes. Very friendly staff and excellent service. They also told us about museum upstairs, unfortunatly we didn’t have time that day. Clean, friendly and beautiful place with home-made cakes, excellent service and the best bacon sarnie ever. See you next week :)
Dirty glasses, dirty and chipped saucer and milk cup. Staff had ran out of filtered coffee dispite there appearing to be filters and coffee available. The tea cake was burnt. We complained about the tea cake and the replacement tea cake also came burnt. I can not believe the previous reviews raving about this place. Please don't come here thinking it's nice.
After eating in town on lunch for the past 2 years I feel I've finally found the perfect place. The food is always amazing (soup is the best in town), cakes are handmade and delicious. Coffee is fresh and hot. The staff are some of the welcoming and warm people I've met. Nothing is ever a problem and when quiet they are more than happy to have a chat. A hidden gem that needs to be visited ❤
We didn't eat there, just went in different coffee. However the cakes on show looked very appetising. Will definitely be back to taste the food on the menu 😊 Lovely place to rest, chill and chat before getting the bus home. The Art on the walls is amazing. From what I can gather, is the art is by People who are in different stages of recovery. 😊
