Such a cute cafe with a great menu. The staff were really kind and friendly. I got the pumpkin loaf and iced americano — a little on the sweet side but it was good! I’d come back for brunch with friends. Nice atmosphere, bustling but still a great place to read.

I’ve been coming here since it opened with my newborn baby and it’s my favorite place for brunch. One of the best kosher cafés in Bergen County. The location right by Votee Park is so convenient, the pastries are fresh and delicious, the coffee is excellent, and the quality is always consistent. The owner is genuinely warm and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better.

We stopped at Café Demi while traveling and had such a wonderful experience. Miriam, the owner, was so welcoming and kind, which made us feel right at home. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious, and the place itself has a beautiful design with a great vibe. Definitely worth a stop! We will be back.

Lovely place with a great ambience. Prices are what you would expect for a nice cafe, about $5 to 7 for a coffee and maybe $15 or so for a breakfast. It is a kosher cafe, so as a vegetarian I was able to find a lot of great options on the menu. The food was presented very nicely and was extremely tasty. In our case it took quite a long time to come out, but we were happy to sit in the sun and drink our coffees while we waited. I appreciated that the coffees came in actual ceramic and glass cups rather than single use paper and plastic. The server apologized when the food finally came out so I'm assuming that was not the norm for them. Either way, we didn't mind, it was busy and it was worth waiting for. There are some sidewalk tables for people who prefer outdoor dining in the nice weather and there are maybe 10 or so tables inside. Several people came with strollers so it seems pretty kid friendly. I will definitely be back! Update: Been back several times and got our food expediently! It was also delicious. One note -- if you want to have a glass cup for your cold brew (which I always do), you can't order the large, only small.

Cafe DeMi is a cafe.
