I am going to close my bank account at this so-called credit Union. I opened at 7 years ago in English when I first arrived from British Columbia. I was devastated after getting sick and losing my home. Here I found myself in Quebec. Thank you very much for keeping your real estate in check. I have affordable housing. I am 65 years old. I was born and raised with a mother tongue of English. My whole life. Imagine my shock and horror that I am expected to be ashamed of where I was born. But it is far worse than I ever thought possible in a place like Canada. When not only will quebecois except the English or any other language I guess, but you cannot have an accent. If you mispronounced a word they will not understand you at all. You must say it with NO hint of an accent or to them you are not speaking French. I know this because I have lived here for 7 years and have been corrected by every single person I try to speak French to. No you are saying it wrong they tell me. The other day I said to the clerk at the fruitery Bonne journee after she collected my money. She said no you don't say it like that. I shook my head and walked away. Today I went into my bank and said I believe my account has been hacked. Can I please speak to a supervisor but I only speak English. A woman from Africa, not Canada, told me that would be impossible. No one at the bank speaks English she told me. So I started talking to her in English anyway and she understood every word I said. Listen to me. Name another country in the whole world where corporations and government will not speak to you if you don't speak their language? We wouldn't go there to visit would we? I wouldn't. I never heard of such a thing. It's so very very ugly. And I have to tell you it is made people insane. Therefore I have decided to write reviews and closed accounts and not frequent companies so full of hatred of English. I don't care about sovereign rights. I care about 💕. Everybody should. If I said something out of line, please let me know. The last thing I am or have ever been, is unkind. But I have to say when companies and corporations join the prejudice party you're going to lose everything. Bonne chance. But I probably said it and spelled it wrong. 👀 I am so tired of being ashamed of who I am! And my accounts have been hacked and nobody cares here. I'm one of the 28,000. And nobody cares because I'm English. I will say the media is blaming h&r Block and it is not. 404.

Il y a un homme à lunettes très déplaisent, ont demande une carte de crédit et il répond ont en donne plus ça n'existe plus, wow tu veux faire un dépôt et il te parle de pourcentage et autres franchement mais pour qui il se prend à snober et regarder les clients de haut ,il est intimidant et c'est désagréable 😡
