I wish I could get the full experience that would have been mentioned in the reviews. I would love to have experienced the great customer service and have my feet measured. I mentioned my plantar fasciitis and no recommendations were made, not even for an additional insole. I was also interested in a walking sneaker, but I don't think the sales person was interested in my business and I felt as though I was a bother. That being said, I made the purchase because it was necessary, if I could have gone elsewhere and found the same type of shoes, I would have.

My orthotist/cobbler didn't want me to have to spend $1500 on a custom made pair of runners, so suggested I contact Canadian Footwear in Winnipeg. I have looked all over Metro Vancouver for shoes to fit me without any success. I was so happy to learn that Canadian Footwear had exactly what I was looking for. The whole experience from the first phone call to the delivery a few days later was terrific. Great service and great prices that include free delivery. Five gold stars for Canadian Footwear and a shout-out for Winnipeg.

Hi there, I am a longtime customer of Canadian Footwear. I highly respect and value their customer service (keep up the good work y’all)! That said, I highly recommend (if not plead) that they need to update their website to keep up with the times. Most (if not all) other retail stores allow a potential customer be able to select a store to see which items are in stock and on sale at that and any other particular store. Most (if not all) other retail stores update their stock for each store and this information is readily available on their websites. Apparently any shoes that are on sale (discount) are only available at the store on Adelaide in downtown Winnipeg. It may well be common knowledge to some longtime customers, I have failed however to find any mention of this fact on the website. The downtown store may have free parking, and/or one can order from it and have the shoe(s) shipped to ones home.
