I don’t live in Toronto anymore so LPAH is not my local vet. But my Westie needed an eye surgery and my local vet didn’t want to do it. She recommended he see an ophthalmologist. I looked into it but the wait time was going to be months and I was told the initial consult would be $600 regardless of whether or not they would be able to help. A friend recommended Dr Wilder and he agreed to see my dog the next week and surgery was done a week after that. The team was wonderful. My dog is a senior terrier and not always the most gracious patient but they treated him so well. He was the calmest I’d ever seen him at the vet’s. It’s been 24 hours since his surgery and he is already back to his old self! I’m so happy to have gotten this done so effortlessly and with such care. if I lived in Toronto this would be my new vet clinic for sure!

Our dog Winnie has been a patient here since she was a puppy. We have only had good experiences with the staff of LPAH. Firstly, the clinic is very responsive via email and has even gotten back to us on statutory holidays. They are quick to triage concern(s) and book an appointment as soon as possible. They have always been kind to us as pet owners, as well as to our dog and this has made the stressful experience of bringing our dog to the vet a lot easier and has put our minds at ease. Secondly, I have NEVER felt like this vet clinic was ripping us off, or pushing unnecessary tests. In fact, they have seen Winnie and waived her examination fee multiple times and have waived some costs when she had a recently surgery on her leg. Thirdly, her vet, Dr. Larry Wilder is very personable and takes so much time during his consultations to explain things thoroughly and answer questions to ensure our understanding. Our dog had surgery at LPAH yesterday and while she was in their care, their staff called me with an update as soon as the surgery was complete. They put a dressing on her leg with hand-made smiley faces and provided us with a cone for her to wear. They spent ample time going over medication dosing, discharge instructions, and next steps in her care. We felt truly cared for and seen. We have recently moved to another part of the GTA, but we continue to drive 45 mins to an hour to bring our dog here because we are just so grateful for the outstanding care LPAH continues to provide for the smallest member of our family, Winnie. We would not trust anyone else with our dog. We highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for genuine, honest, and competent veterinary care for their fur babies.

We switched to Lawrence Park Animal Hospital about a year ago and have had nothing but good experiences with them! The staff is very friendly and quick to respond. I found it very difficult with our previous vet to figure out what treatments they were recommending for the fees and which were actually necessary for my dog's care. At Lawrence Park I feel like I can trust that they are only recommending things that are actually the best option for my dog's treatment. They always take the time to answer questions and seem to genuinely care about my dog's well-being. Their prices are very reasonable and it's reassuring to be able to trust them to look out for my pet.
