Brandon was exceptional—he repaired severe wood rot on my chimney, not an easy job. He did great work and actually adjusted from the original estimate to only make the needed repairs. Nobody does that anymore. Trustworthy, dependable and does a super job. So glad I found him after getting multiple estimates. Also, Jennifer in the front office does a super job. When Brandon came out to quote adding a handicap ramp to the front of my home he presented as confident that Candoor would be able to build an ADA compliant ramp. After a day and a half of work they dropped a bill that was $1,207.69 more in labor than the estimate with absolutely no communication... for what we now know was shoddy work! The total cost? $4,476.89. When asked they told me that it was because I added length to the ramp and decorative rails. My response was that the ramp length was determined by the ADA requirements and the decorative rails, which were left overs from another project that I provided. They used untreated plywood and didn't consider how the ramp would be under wet or icy conditions... which for the record, was unsafe as we found out when our guests started slipping, one grabbing the hand rails with more weight than the others and having the rail give out; which was when we found that the slats of the rails were only held together by 1 1/4 inch screws to secure a 1x1 rail. see attached. When asked to resolve, it took them 4 months to come out. When Brandon was here for the repairs, we heard the compression drill about 4-5 times and we were told all of the screws had been replaced with longer ones. The deck is still shaky.

Double Portion

Brandon and his excellent team have helped me with several projects on my custom golf course home and additional rental property. Their prices are fair and quality unmatched. I marvel at Brandon, Zac, and team’s can-do attitude, they’ve been able to tackle every custom project I can dream up (pocket doors, Sunporch and siding, new bathroom, vast amounts of electrical work, and even plans for a custom water slide to the pool!) Greatly appreciate their character, integrity, and ability to do anything my heart imagines at reasonable prices, on time. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!
