I've had 2 sessions with Jason and he's phenomenal. He has so much patience, especially dealing with my co dependent dog. He is very informative and knowledgeable. Just know he's not there to train your dog, he's there to teach you how to train your dog.

My one year old puppy, Daisy completed a two week Board and Train with Jason. We adopted her right before COVID so she had little to no socialization. She is a happy and playful dog but very anxious and this caused some difficulty with interactions with her sister. Jason spent about an hour meeting with us prior to Board and shared expectations and realistic goals. Loved how Canine Mindset made posts on Instagram showing daily progress. We missed her a lot and were grateful for that. When Daisy came home we had a full lesson to see what tasks to practice/ reinforce each day along with chatting about changes and expectations. We were so nervous to have our little girl leave us for two weeks and to invest the money in the training. It was a great investment! Not only was Daisy trained and bad habits broken but we were also trained in ways that WE need to change as parents. Excited for our time ahead as a family with our two sweet dogs. We are on day three and we’ve seen huge changes in both dogs’ obedience, anxiety, calmness, and our peaceful home. Thank you, Canine Mindset!!!

Jason is awesome! I reached out after bringing home my 8 week old puppy. He responded promptly and we set an appt for several weeks later. We just had the appointment yesterday and I am so grateful! He was warm friendly and listened to our concerns then helped us out into perspective what we should work on first and gave thorough explanations. We worked on crate training. I watched countless videos and read every article on this and followed all the outside advice without success. Jason outlined simple steps and demonstrated while in our home. I am doing his technique for the first time right now on my own and my puppy tool 10min to settle into the crate, whined for 2 min and has been silent with me out of the room for 15 minutes! This is amazing considering he would whine the second we were out of sight and freak out and has never been left alone in the crate before this. I didn't think I could get to this point so quickly. I'm working from home now but will be going back to work soon and have been so stressed. Not to mention I haven't been able to leave my home without my puppy in weeks. I was worried I was creating major separation anxiety. Jason eased my worries, gave me steps to prevent this from happening and it's already working! Jason gave me the practical steps and confidence I needed to be able to set my puppy up for independence and success and give me my life back. And to top it off I was thinking I'd be purchasing 4 lessons from him but he was honest saying he didn't think I needed to do that and just reach back out once we got this down and I was ready for the next steps in leash training. He could have easily had my purchase a training package. But he was honest and saved me money. So grateful and will definitely be back in a month or so to continue our training journey. 10/10 recommend.

I start working with Jason almost 8 months ago. I had adopted a German Shepherd puppy from the pound and at about the age 1’and a half, Jack started to show reactive behavior (triggered by a bad experience with my neighbor and his dogs.) I was pretty desperate and needed help! I was ready to Give up On Jack and find him a new Home. I reached out to my vet who gave my Jason’s number! Thank God I found Canine Mindset! Jason helped me gain the confidence to handle a reactive dog and the skills to help Jack become the best dog he can be! Jack still has a long way to go, but thanks to the skills and training Jack and I have gained through Canine Mindset, we have a Strong bond and are working together as a team!
