Andrew MitchellThere is now a Second Car Park East that also has APCOA same price £4 per day which is very reasonable. Mobile reception is not great here, so their App can take a while to react. Just be patient
Helen ParkerCool little station near Glastonbury. 2/3 platforms, shelters, loos and ticket office. Friendly staff. Local route into town marked at station, with the option to do local recommend walks - pick up the leaflet at the station. GWR train at Castle Cary was pristine..social distancing and face coverings are essential during travel at this time and enforced by guards.
Hilaire BridportGreat new car park, easy access to the station and cheap for a weekend parking. Big issue though; new cafe, beautifully created from old station buildings, is fast becoming a destination in its own right. We popped in for a coffee before 10,30 train and all the indoor tables were reserved. It’s part of the Newt empire apparently. If that’s how it goes, the car park will get filled up by people going for brunch in this trendy new caff, not catching trains. Shame.
K TParking is always an issue so arrive early. Could not get parking app to work and there was nowhere to get any change. Toilets always seem to be shut. Some people are very inconsiderate when parking!
