Best dentist! After having really bad experiences in the past and a big fear of the dentist, I went here to finally start my treatment with the dental care plan. Today we did a root canal and it was an overall amazing experience. No pain, the hygenists and dentist were amazing at keeping me calm and absolutely hilarious! My son also had his first dental appointment two weeks back and I was impressed at how well they handled a 3 year old. He's actually really excited to go back for his next checkup!

Being new to this community we were nervous of finding a good dentist. Thankfully we have!! Otter Creek is amazing, welcoming and truly caring. I feel respected and appreciated here; it’s nice when the Dentist and staff discuss your health care needs with you.

I must say I was not impressed with this dental office only with a few exceptions. I spoke with Lily (receptionist) super friendly! Karen (reception) on the other hand, has no customer service skills with attitude and should really work on that! Reason I came to this office was due to my child having shark teeth (tooth growing out behind baby tooth) to get seen, I didn't realize that a cleaning would be involved but whatever was due for one anyways. Also, all xrays from previous dental office was sent to this location after signing release form. Kristen was the hygienist for my child who was nice and did great with my child that has anxiety about going to the dentist. An xray was done (bitewings) and was told she had multiple cavities (under 10 years old) and that I had an option to put her to sleep at that location to do one side first and go back in a month or longer to do the other side which a consultation was needed with the dentist, Dr. David Lim (he was very informative and nice about it) for this procedure to happen and had to speak with a coordinator as well. Coordinator unsure of her name (has her own office near reception) but was very noisy to give me "the exact quote" for this to happen meanwhile, this office was aware that I had private insurance and claims are submitted I assume through fax anyways to submit claims. So, this woman wanted to know percentage coverage and full amount annually (kinda none of her business but I let her know anyways). She also wanted to know if my child would be covered for the anesthesia which she could have clearly found out on her own by contacting my insurance. So her position is kind of pointless as I've never went to a dental office with a coordinator and is typically usually receptions job to find this information out from insurance but hey not my business so I don't care not wasting my money. Moving onto next hygienist, Shelby for my other child (over 10 years old) did bitewing xray also panoramic xray which was fine as I think is beneficial so ended up doing it. She did great with doing the cleaning mentioned about some cavities and said not to bother as they will be coming out soon (after dentist took a look). Kendra, was the last hygienist that another one of my children (under 10 years old) had seen and she needs some work! She has no experience with children it seems like as I had to keep reassuring my child because she kept raising her hand (which was taught to her at my previous dental office to stop or needs a break) what Kendra was doing which as the hygienist working on a young child's mouth should be the one saying ok I'm going to be counting your teeth with my tool or I'm going to be using my special tool now to clean your teeth etc...I as the parent am not a hygienist and should not have to be the one to say what the hygienist is doing when my child is right under them and I'm sitting on a chair in the corner. I also just wanted a hole on my tooth filled and I would have to first do full assessment (one date) and wait about 2 weeks to get it filled unacceptable! Also, not to mention all these crazy fees even with private insurance because of first time being at this office was just insane paying over $200 for just 2 children. I canceled with this location completely which is very sad of how this business is ran and went to my original dental office. And guess what mt children did not need all these cavities done as well had to redo xrays which had to be paid again by myself. I do not recommend this location, I have seen a lot of mixed reviews and now I see why as a parent with a big family to bad it didn't work out and this place just seems like they want to just drill holes when not completely necessary and can actually be considered "watch."

I have been a patient at this office my entire life, but since the ownership change, it has deteriorated into an impersonal, unfriendly assembly line. What was once a warm and welcoming environment is now cold, rigid, and dismissive. The front staff—particularly Nicole and Melissa—are rude, unaccommodating, and show little regard for children or family needs. To make matters worse, the individual claiming to be the manager refused to even provide her last name, a glaring display of unprofessionalism and lack of accountability. This office has lost all sense of patient care and respect and it shows.

Care Dental is a dentist.
