Jeff's expertise and acumen have been indispensable for my case. He truly cares for his clients and makes himself available where other attorneys won't. His response times are unreal! I'm extremely grateful for that. You can tell he really cares for his clients with the effort he goes to in order to help them find success. Even after we've resolved, I look forward to maintaining a future business relationship with him. (And for the record, he's my second attorney---life really came through making sure my case found its way into the right hands!)

I paid $50 for a consultation that never occurred. I was referred to Attorney Jeffrey L. Pollock through Neighborhood Legal Services under their Reduced Fee Referral Program for low-income clients. I paid $50 in advance for a 30-minute consultation. However, the consultation never actually took place. I only spoke with Mr. Pollock briefly (around five minutes) to cancel and request a refund about 10 minutes after sending the Zelle payment. No legal advice or service was provided. I explained that I am currently struggling financially and that $50 is about a week’s worth of food for me, but he declined to return the payment. During the brief call, Mr. Pollock said that any phone call — even lasting only a couple of seconds — would automatically count as a 5-minute billable consultation, even if no legal advice was given. He stayed on the phone until around the 5-minute mark and then abruptly ended the call. He also told me to “think about it,” which felt like a way to avoid addressing the refund. At another point, he suggested that even emailing him could be considered a billable 5-minute consultation, which was alarming. A few hours after our call, I reached out again — politely reiterating that I would not be proceeding with the consultation and again requesting a refund. He later emailed saying he was out of town and would “take care of it,” but he never followed up or issued the refund. After I posted a factual review describing my experience, Mr. Pollock immediately called me. He said he valued his professional reputation and was willing to refund the $50 and apologize in person, but claimed he did not know how to use Zelle and would need his stepson’s help. That meant the refund would again be delayed. I explained that Zelle is typically simple and quick, but he insisted it would take several days, which felt like continued delay. Later, Mr. Pollock sent multiple accusatory and hostile emails. In those messages, he asserted that I had “ruined his reputation,” accused me of making “slanderous comments,” and even suggested that my use of a shortened name was dishonest. The tone felt defensive rather than constructive. In those emails, he also wrote: “You definitely got $50 worth of libel accomplished across BBB, Google…” “Such mean-spirited acts don’t deserve a refund.” “What you wrote/did is horribly destructive!” He also implied that he would have refunded me, but no longer planned to do so because I wrote a review, which felt retaliatory and unprofessional. This experience was stressful, especially as someone seeking help through a program meant to support low-income individuals. I had hoped for professionalism and understanding, but unfortunately, that was not my experience. Your experience may differ, but this was mine. I am sharing it so that others can make informed decisions before working with this attorney.

Jeff went above and beyond to fulfill my needs. He is truly a very loyal attorney who will fight for his clients. He listens, understands, and prioritizes his clients needs' while being super honest at the same time. I truly appreciate all he did for me and my kids. He helped to get us exactly where we needed to be despite a lot of difficulties. Thank you, Jeff for being an amazing and honest attorney.

JEFFREY POLLOCK has represented me many time throughout the course of ten years and each time he has provided excellent results. Jeffrey provides excellent communication always answering his emails within the same day usually within a hour or two. I don't think I can express how hugely important this quick communication is to a nervous client. Recently I hired Jeff to represent me and my daughter in regards to a complicated family law issue. Jeff was amazing with my daughter easing her stress and anxiety by explaining the court process on her level of understanding. I would highly recommend Jeffrey Pollock above anyone else for family law matters
