The best word to describe this place is "homey". I've never been to a dental office that feels so welcoming and comfortable. Plus, the staff are extremely friendly, professional, and amazing with children. I highly recommend The Dental Place!

Fantastic staff. Everyone warm and personable. Going to a dentist is always a bit nerve-wracking for some. But the people here make it that much easier, from the doctor to the hygienist (meticulous) to reception. And a clean comfortable space. Highly recommend.

I have had only the best service when at The Dental Place. I trust Dr. Moffat and her staff completely. Thanks for all that you do. Also, I have already recommended The Dental Place to my friends and will continue to do so. I know for sure that one friend has been there and was quite pleased.

My experience with Dr. Moffett was terrible and I advise everyone reading this to visit one of the many other dentists in the area. On June 2nd, I was involved in an accident that left me with a broken hand and two chipped teeth. In-or-around June 6th, I met with Dr. Tammy Moffett about getting my teeth repaired. She offered me a 50% discount if we took some photos that she could use for accreditation. I told her it would be fine as long as the photos weren’t used for social media. On June 9th, I met with Dr. Moffet and her dental hygienist Heidi to get the teeth repaired. Dr. Moffet seemed excessively focused on her accreditation photos and I signed the form with her own hand-written addendum that they not be used for social media. The photos took about an hour and were very uncomfortable to do. She then 'repaired' my teeth. At the end of the procedure she advised me to avoid biting into hard things. Sadly, she ultimately charged my family full price for the procedure as she would later say she decided not to use the photos for her accrediation. Between June 9th and the date of the incident I avoided all hard foods, avoiding use of my front teeth completely as they were still very sore from the accident. I found out later that both teeth were loose, infected, and required root canals. Less than a week later, on the night of the June 15th, I woke up to get a glass of water and when I sat back down into bed the cap she created for one of my teeth fell off. This occurred at about 3:30am and I immediately told my father who is a physician. The next day, I booked an appointment to see Dr. Moffett and showed up with my mother. The second the door closed and it was just myself, Dr. Moffett and her dental hygienist, Dr. Moffett began speaking to me condescendingly, aggressively, and acting incredibly defensive. I tried to advise her that the cap just fell out, but she said that she has been “doing this 20 years and [her] work doesn’t just ‘fall out’”. She also asked me “What’s the probability you did something wrong versus the probability I did something wrong?”. While I would have accepted that these things just happen from time to time, she began accusing me of being negligent and also of grinding my teeth saying that she was going to charge me for the second procedure. I began to feel uncomfortable and asked her to speak with my father, who is a physician. She condescendingly responded “You want me to speak with your FATHER?”. She claimed there was evidence of grinding to my lower teeth, which I don’t believe as my teeth were loose. I also believe that with the state my teeth that the time, I would have been in too much pain if I was grinding them. I am open to an independent investigation on whether or not there is actual evidence of teeth grinding (or if she just made that up). When I asked about the discount that I was supposed to get for taking all of those uncomfortable photos, she said she wasn’t going to give me one since she decided not to use the photos. She then threatened to not do the repair at all if I continued to question her expertise. As I was in pain, had a broken hand, and needed my teeth repaired, I conceded and asked her to do the procedure. She agreed to do it for the same price that is she offers other patients for the first repair. She then began complaining that she has had to do a lot of paperwork due to my insurance and that she didn't want to see me as a patient anymore. After the procedure, she began speaking to my mother and her demeanour instantly changed. She still made us pay for redoing the work that didn't hold. First and foremost, I believe Dr. Moffett’s treatment of me when my family wasn’t present was condescending, rude, and unprofessional. I also don't appreciate her mocking me for wanting to speak with my father, who is a physician. I also feel like she manipulated and mislead me in relation to the photos we took. Lastly, I feel her work simply doesn't hold. In the time since, I have been working with the dental society to draft a complaint against her.
