Review Update: Caulfeild Village is a terrifically convenient and upmarket mid-sized outdoor shopping mall located in the western side of the District of West Vancouver. Situated at the top of Headland Drive -- up from Olde Caulfeild -- and accessible from Exit 4 of the Upper Levels Highway (Trans-Canada/Highway 1), the ample roadways and parking make for a smooth visit. The ambience is also very alpine picturesque: a community retail - commercial hub boasting subtle European charm -- from its gabled-roofline + half-timbered accents, to its turrets + clocktower; from its attractive seasonal landscaping features to its friendly pedestrian sidewalks and benches. Anchored by a well-appointed Safeway with in-store Starbucks, this complex also includes a large welcoming Pharmasave + newly expanded BC Liquor Signature store, BMO Bank of Montreal, new Dominos Pizza, Forecast Coffee shop, Windsor Meats, Mega Sushi Restaurant, Mucho Burrito, in addition to Medical & Dental Clinics, IRIS Opticians, Veterinary Clinic, Insurance Brokers, Art - Framing Gallery, and clothiers J. Gregory Men's Apparel & Marilyn's boutique. I hope I haven't left anybody out of this list, but there have been several recent / interesting changes in Caulfeild Village Plaza over the past 2 or so years. Caulfeild Village really is much more than a convenient + picturesque shopping venue; it is a year-round gathering-place for the Community -- especially in its Seasonal Festival weekends in Spring and Fall -- and it is a pivotal concentration of key products, shops and services for the western half of the DWV and the Sea-to-Sky region.

If I ever find the funny guy who forced Pastamelis to close i’m gonna replace the floorboards in their home with lego while they are on vacation. RIP to the Dollar Store, Cherry Berry, Cobs Bread, Starbucks, and now Pastamelis. So many great places taken away from us and replaced with things that nobody asked for. I wouldn’t be surprised if this “village” degrades into nothing but a Safeway and the provinces largest BC Liquor Store. Shame on you!
