My accounting firm left me high and dry having fallen behind several months on our business bookkeeping without my knowledge. We needed current P&L and Balance Sheet data for a round of financing only to find they would take WEEKS to prepare! I contacted CB Accounting on the Wednesday prior to a Monday deadline. She and her team worked around the clock and over the weekend to straighten things out and had the necessary reports ready for the Monday meeting. This is going WAAAAY above and beyond for a new client. Simply outstanding.
I saw this place and saw the great reviews and I thought I would reach out. I am starting up my own LLC. I called the company twice with in their hours of operation and no answer. They did end up returning my call 2 hours later. In which I inquired on if they do any free consultations, in which the lady was pretty rude advised I can set up an LLC in 5 minutes and that they don't work for free. I advise I wasn't looking for help in creating the LLC just more so information/advise on setting up the taxes. In which she stated again rudely we don't work for free. In which I stated to her well I would be looking at hiring an accountant but looking for some good advice and in the middle of me speaking she just hung up the phone. Extremely unprofessional to hang up it wasn't a nasty conversation at all just looking to feel them out and see what benefit they could potentially add to my company and then to be talked to with a nasty attitude from a simple request. A simple I'm sorry sir we don't offer that here would be miles more professional than we don't work for free and hanging up the phone. Based off my interaction I'm glad I didn't pay them a dime to speak with them if this is how they treat potential customers.
I've been using CB Accounting for 3 tax seasons now. Seth has provided great service with professionalism, empathy, and knowledge. He's quick to reply to all of my questions and made the process easy and stress-free. This is the best tax service I've had and will continue to return.
