Customer experiences
I cannot thank Monica enough for her guidance and expertise throughout my divorce. From the very beginning, she took the time to listen to my concerns, explain every step of the process, and provide practical advice that made a difficult situation much easier to manage. She was always responsive, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable about family law. Monica’s Legal Assistant, Danielle, was equally wonderful—always on time with communication, quick to respond, and extremely organized with documents and follow-up emails. Their teamwork made the entire experience much smoother and less stressful. Thanks to their professionalism and dedication, I felt supported and confident throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Monica and her team to anyone seeking a skilled, caring, and dependable divorce lawyer.
Terrible experience. We sought counsel and were told by Debbie that we could meet with Ashley for a $280 fee. Great. Debbie requested some information from us, and when asked how we could acquire that information not available to plain civilians, we were not given any advice. That's okay to not be helpful and I can figure out the legal stuff myself. We paid to acquire this information for Debbie from another source since they're not able to acquire this information for us for a fee, and when we returned to her with it after 1 week (this was the turnaround time), we were told that that they are at capacity. That's just bad business. If they don't care to help guide or at very least communicate that if we go to actually attain the information they need through financial means, they're going to toss us to the curb, maybe we wouldn't have wasted our time and we would've looked elsewhere from the get-go. Perhaps a more qualified law office would have been able to source that information for us to expedite the process. What a disheartening experience when we just need some help and are met with no desire to rectify, blatant disregard for others' time, and seemingly not much basic knowledge of how to acquire information. How embarrassing - hopefully this is a new office and everyone's in training or something.
What could have been a very hard and stressful point in my life was met with professionalism. Both Shea and Dani helped me easily get through a very difficult point in my life, they were both very supportive and quick to respond to any questions or concerns that I raised. This is the second time I have worked with CBM and the firm continues to be excellent in every facet of their business.
We hired Alex Watkins and CBM Lawyers for over a year, diligently following her advice despite reservations. Our suggestions were met with defensiveness and a suggestion to seek other counsel – unfair after substantial fees. We experienced delayed communication, superficial analysis, and insensitivity to the emotional toll. The service was unacceptable, particularly for family law. After $30,000, the opposing side's stance seemed insurmountable. We terminated the agreement. A new attorney, receptive to our input, resolved the case swiftly and for significantly less than continuing with CBM Lawyers. In our experience, Alex lacked compassion and ultimately failed to achieve a favorable outcome.
CBM Lawyers is a law firm.
