We were in on 1st May 2025 for what we thought would be a quick a review, having been discharged a week prior for severe malaria. Arrived at 11.30am The place was packed. There is no distinction between reviews and new patients. There seemed to be only 1 physician on duty. It was about 30 minutes before we were through with triage, a whopping 2 hours thereafter before we saw the physician, another hour for blood test results. By 4pm we had not seen the physician and are likely to leave at 5pm. Understaffed, loooooooong waits and while we were admitted, the QR code for customer feedback in the room didn't work because the mandatory phone number required only provided for 9 digits rather than the 10 digit phone numbers we have in Uganda. The admission experience on the whole was however good. The nurse who took us to the CT scan (for suspected PE) was particularly empathetic and patient. So it would seem it's the outpatients service that's atrocious. EDIT I hope this edit is seen, as I am unable to post a new review. IHK asked to clarify the patient name. I was an attendant and NOT the patient, whose name I do not want to disclose publicly. We were in room 8, Level 2 from April 20th to 23rd 2025. We were discharged on April 24th 2025, and returned for review on 1st May 2025, the day of the bad experience. The kind nurse during admission was our attending day nurse on 22nd April, who accompanied the patient down to the CT scan, made sure he was comfortable, accompanied us back, brought the oxygen cannister etc. She was very empathetic, given the emotional state of the patient. Unfortunately I did not get her name.

Simply Very Slow. Absent staff. You Literally wait for every one. The Dr. On a Phone Call. THE Pharmacist is for supper. With your flue / Caugh and you come at night to wait for 2 hours. Not worth it. You can do better

If you're considering visiting this hospital for ENT purposes, I strongly advise against it. Don't waste your money! The doctors here are unprofessional and prioritize rushing through patients rather than providing proper care. Specifically, Dr. Richard Byaruhanga was extremely rude, dismissive, and displayed discriminatory behavior. He does not treat people equally and seems more focused on getting rid of patients as quickly as possible. This is unacceptable behavior. IHK C-Care should address this issue immediately, as it reflects poorly on their reputation. Shame on him for such disgraceful conduct.

Their hygiene and services need to be complimented.Tha entire place was clean and very well managed. This speaks highly of the efforts by the administration of the hospital and the staff.
