We had a great experience working with the Center for Nonprofit Law. Their team was knowledgeable, responsive, and easy to work with from start to finish. They helped us review and update our bylaws and required policy documents and made sure everything was compliant with Oregon nonprofit law. They did an excellent job explaining what needed to be done and why, without making the process feel overwhelming. Our board felt confident knowing we were on solid legal footing and moving forward the right way. Center For Nonprofit Law does a fantastic job for nonprofits, because of their vast fund of knowledge about the workings of the nonprofit section of the IRS and their expert understanding of what the IRS nonprofit section accepts and what it does not. Emily Viera at Center For Nonprofit Law wrote our 501(c)(3) application and got it approved by the IRS in a record 2 and a half months from the day she submitted it! Usually, during normal times, it takes 8 months or more. And these are not normal times!!! Center For Nonprofit Law also gives excellent training for board members in what nonprofit boards need to know and do to maintain their 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status and follow best practices. The quality of work done by Center For Nonprofit Law is beyond excellent! They are likely the best nonprofit law office in the country!!
