I am not usually someone who writes bad reviews even if i have had a bad experience and I am not someone who usually gets frustrated in a situation like this. However, I am beyond annoyed at the service i have received from this Timpsons branch. I first went in on the 06/09/2017 and asked if I could get two balcony door keys cut. Unfortunately they didn't have the right blank in store so the (very helpful and pleasant) young man said he would have to order these keys in from the number on the key. He told me to expect them by 08/09/17 and if I didn't hear anything then to pop into store or ring up. So, Friday (8th) came and went, by the Sunday (10th) I still hadn't heard anything so I went into store. The man (again seemingly helpful) told me that he would have to check with another employee as he usually doesn't work at that store and to expect a call by 11/09/17. A few more calls back and forth between another branch (in Bury) and myself I was actually told they would be ready today! 13 days later i have picked up my keys and they don't even work. Regent Road Timpsons never personally called me to tell me they were ready, never apologised for the fact I've been waiting almost 2 weeks. Bearing in mind I had paid for the keys before I collected them. I will be returning said keys and getting a refund.

Website states £5 - £10 to remove links from watches I have a ceramic watch so the lady tried to charge £25! When I challenged the woman she then changed to £20! Disgraceful felt like I was being haggled at the market. Never going timpsons again

At the Stalybridge store the chap is very helpful indeed. He reprogrammed the key for my car today
