Coming from a luxury gym on the other side of the city that costs 4x more than GoodLife - I’m very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this location specifically. Starting from the service I got at the front desk when I said it was my first time at the location, she proactively gave me a quick verbal tour which is amazing service! While it doesn’t have the amenities like sauna/pool before the renovation; for those looking for a workout in a good environment (with a decent amount of squat racks) - this is a great location. Worst case if you need a sauna or steam room - the one on Bay has one. Big kudos to whoever designed the new aesthetic for GoodLife.
This gym is high quality and clean. I particularly enjoy the Craft Boxing classes here. I attend and enjoy the classes of Shannon C. She is very welcoming, motivating, and skilled at her craft. She pushes people to be at their very best. She is very knowledgeable and pays great attention to detail. The boxing workouts progress and are also diverse (changing every month based on a past boxing fight or a boxer's style). I've seen significant improvements in my strength, agility, and overall fitness since I started the program. I credit much of that to the fantastic coaching by Shannon. I highly recommend this gym for a top-notch Craft Boxing experience.
Love love love, all the machines are new and top notch, they even connect to Apple Watch and TV screens. 💖 Super clean, plenty of water stations and sanitation stations. It gets super crowded in the evening, so if you want to avoid the busy hours go after 8/9pm or in the morning. Majority of the staff are super friendly and sweet, there’s just one lady that has an attitude. 😩
