If you enjoy being gaslight and mistreated for being a mother that asks questions then you’ve come to the right place, this dental office will make sure you feel horrible for asking questions and exercising your right to informed consent / refusal. I made two appointments back to back for 6 & 4 year old for a cleaning/dental exam. When I made an appointment I made them write in my file no x rays I told them at the beginning of my appointment. after the cleaning, the dentist brought up that I should do x rays and why. (FAIR that’s totally fine) what’s NOT fine is everything that happened after. I told her I understood and that I was choosing not to. She then started getting very insistent and went on a 10 minute rant about how x rays are safe and bla bla (and yes sure they’re “safe” but I also have a right to say no?) so I said, because of my children’s medical history they’ve already been over exposed to x rays so for now we are not doing them. So instead of taking what I’m saying and respecting my decision, she doubles down, that I SHOULD be open and that x rays are the safest thing ever and pointed to the graph in her wall that I needed to believe and then triples down and says I need to be open in the future and today, so as a way to try and get her to stop pressuring me, I say, I came with all my kids today (my baby was with me on top of the other kids) and maybe next time I’ll make an appointment for just one and we can do the x rays since it’s less stressful I just want to focus on other aspects of the dental exam (like my concerns for my children narrow palate) instead she now quadruples down that the x rays SHOULD be done today, and that I don’t even need to be there! She says it’s actually wrong for me to want to be a part of the process, instead I should just “take a walk” with my baby so my 4 year old daughter (that only speaks Spanish) can “learn” how to do dental exams without me present so she can learn independence. She then says, that additionally x rays are so SAFE she doesn’t even need to put the x ray chest protector vest , and she only puts it on as a “show” for people like me that are “anxious” about x rays but in fact it’s so SAFE she can do x rays without the protection. I tell her that in our family case my children will not be left alone with them. At this point it’s been 20 minutes of this tyrannical and disrespectful tirade and I say for the 10th time I came to talk about something else and I would like to talk about my concerns. She snaps and says what do you want then? I start asking about their Narrow palate and how a myofunctional therapist encouraged me to talk to my dentist about options and early intervention. She interrupts right away says they’re too young and it’s only worth it in like 10 years. I can see now she doesn’t actually care but I’m already there and want to ask about my 6 year olds loose tooth. I ask the following “is it better for the adult tooth emerging that we remove the baby teeth ourselves or let it fall on its own, I guess I’m concerned if we don’t remove it and wait it could make the tooth in the back stay in the back” She responds with it’s fine just leave it, so I say , can you answer my question though? Will it affect how the tooth comes in , could it make it crooked ? And could you help us take it out ? And she says “clearly you’re someone very NERVOUS about everything so just leave it because you probably won’t be able to take it off yourself because of your nervousness” I was so overwhelmed with her pressure and rudeness that my eyes watered and I just wanted to leave. I said “you’re very rude and not answering my questions and pressuring me” and she said “OH why am I rude ? Are you offended ? Are you offended I called you nervous?”So I got up and left. In the office there was also a paper hung about the benefits of fluoride in drinking water so you can already know a lot about them by just seeing they forget to mention that fluoride in drinking water has been associated by lower iq scores in children.They just wanted my $ for x rays x 3 kids x 1 per year.

Drs Nguyen and Dufresne are the very best! Excellent state of the art service with wonderful personalities. Apart from being a regular patient, I had a last-minute dental emergency that Dr. Dufresne and the dental assistant stayed late to handle. I am so appreciative for that and overall, for having such wonderful dentists. Thank you!

I was one of Dr. Marc Dufresne patient for over a year and I got a LOT of my dental proplems fixed. the work he did was amazing!! even other dentists were asking me where I got my fillings done and telling me that he dentist who did them, did a great job.
