Customer experiences
C.F.C. Transport in Coffee County, Tennessee, exceeded my expectations! Their efficient service and friendly staff made my shipping experience seamless. I highly recommend them for their reliability and professionalism.
This review is of their Pick-a-Part salvage yard. Pros: Nice selection of older model cars, including a greater selection of what you would find in other pick-your-own part yards in middle Tennessee. You're often more likely to encounter hard-to-find parts that are usually picked pretty quickly at the Nashville yards. Cons: Prices are 20-60% more than what you would expect to pay at ANY other pick-your own part yards. Large items like motors and transmissions are comparable, but other prices are downright criminal. This mainly applies to plastic bits, such as interior and exterior trim pieces. A few comparisons: Location: Part: Price: Pull-A-Part Nashville Moulding $2.00/foot Pull and Save Lavergne $2.28/foot CFC $2.40/foot Pull-A-Part Nashville Fender extension $9.07 Pull and Save Lavergne $7.99 CFC $10.00 Pull-A-Part Nashville Wire harness $8.73/16.01 sm/lg Pull and Save Lavergne $2.39/ft CFC $2.50/ft Pull-A-Part Nashville Door Mirror $13.14 Pull and Save Lavergne $6.99 CFC $15.00 Pull-A-Part Nashville Steering Wheel $12.17 Pull and Save Lavergne $5.99 CFC $15.00 Admittedly, they are slightly cheaper on some things, and the price differences don't seem that great. But when you get to checkout, they can add up fast. I always feel like I got bent over the barrel when I go to check out: especially when all I ever have is a pile of plastic bits and I walk out paying the price of 2 complete engines. More than 1/2 of what I buy is likely to get crushed anyways due to lack of interest (older cars, no real demand for the parts). I routinely pay about 30-50% more than I expect when I go to checkout, based on what I pay for the same parts at other pick and pull yards like Pull and Save in Lavergne. If I lived in Tullahoma, it would make sense. There aren't enough people in Tullahoma to make this place profitable. So, most of their business has to come in from elsewhere. Maybe make it worth the trip? Bottom line: You're pretty well assured to find some neat pieces for your car that you might not find elsewhere. But, you're gonna pay for it.
Clean yard with a decent stock for our small town but New hours not helpful to those that have to work for a living. Some employees friendly and courteous but one lady is downright rude.
Rude staff. Doesn't appreciate your business nor act on matters when necessary. They used to have a phone number you can reach staff, now they don't have that. When you call it's only a recording. They sure have gone downhill from the past. This goes for the pick n pull in the same area.
