Loved my sandwich a pastrami rueben on marble rye. The meat was so juicy and delicious. Serving sizes are huge. Hubby had a 3 cheese grilled cheese sandwich and chunky homemade tomato soup. The soup came with herbed croutons and was the perfect companion for dunking. The cheese pull was truly admirable. Seek them out today!

Visited here while waiting to go to a show nearby at the Roseland. I have seen this place on doordash and Uber eats etc. But I've never been here. It was an easy choice because the menu looks great! I had the full size brisket french style dip sandwich. At first I was confused because there was no au jus. The worker explained to me that they marinate the meat in it and sometimes I have a problem chewing bread and typically stay away from sandwiches which is why I like the "juice". To my surprise it came out and the bread was the most freshest most tastiest bread I've had in so long, last time. I probably had good bread like that was when I lived in upstate New York. The sandwich overall was delicious, tasty and did not lack in any way shape or form. I'm kind of still dreaming about it and can't wait to have another one! We went in and surprisingly this place was not busy. A friend of mine had a different sandwich and loved it just as much. So I don't know why this place isn't super busy all the time or maybe they just do a lot of online orders. Definitely my favorite sandwich place in Portland! They have a couple arcade games and there's tons of table top seating. Don't second guess Charlie's deli is the best! Don't skip this one! I can't wait to go back!

So dissappointed. There is barely any meat on a$15 sandwich! It's mostly bread and veggies. I used to LOVE this place, but if this is now their meat portion size, I won't be returning. What a ripoff!

Great great sandwiches. I've tried 3 different ones on multiple occasions. The Italian was so big and looked so good my coworker went and got one. Great hours too and right by my office. Horrible and stupid bathroom policy. I tried to stop and pee when I was walking to my bus and was told it was for dine in customers only. I even offered them a few bucks so I wouldn't have to go outside like so many other people and was denied. Bathroom policy is important to me. I'm not saying let it be a free for all but an obvious former customer trying to go before getting on an hour long bus ride? I'll probably not be going back.
