Dinner at Chin Chin on Flinders Lane was a great experience overall. The atmosphere was lively and energetic—definitely a place that feels busy in a good way. It's not the quietest venue, but it worked well for a fun night out with the whole family. The food was full of bold flavours and nicely balanced dishes. The yellow curry with crispy noodles was a standout—rich, slightly sweet, and comforting. The beef with lettuce cups had great texture and depth, and the fresh herbs lifted it nicely. The fried chicken looked great and had a nice crunch, though the flavour didn’t quite match the presentation. Service was efficient but i wouldn't call it friendly. Nevertheless, despite the full house, everything came out at a good pace and the staff were on top of things. All up, Chin Chin delivered a solid night out—punchy food, fast service, and a buzzing atmosphere. Worth checking out if you’re in the city and looking for modern Thai with a bit of flair.

Bit pricey but the food is all quite good. The outdoor seating is also well placed for a light lunch. We ordered the crispy rice salad plus pork, with some roti to help with carbs and spiciness mitigation The roti was more like two sheets of pie crust though? Not like any roti I’ve had in the past, but I’m no expert. I’d probably recommend the jasmine rice instead if you need some more carbs. Staff is all very professional

We bought the chef's menu and it was nice but very little food on each dish eg I could barely see the seafood pieces on the salad. The food didn't take my breath away but it was quite nice atmosphere anyway. The service staff were charming and the place was quite crowded We were shifted to downstairs for drinks and then upstairs for food. But then we were shifted downstairs again I think it was a bit annoying. I still enjoyed it the venue

We had an exceptional group dinner (party of 12) at Chin Chin Flinders Lane last night. We booked the private dining room and were treated to outstanding personal service—truly felt like VIPs. The team handled our group’s various dietary needs with care and discretion, making everyone feel comfortable. The food was fresh, vibrant, and absolutely delicious. The background music added to the lively yet relaxed atmosphere. The standout dish for most of us was the BBQ pork with eggplant, but honestly, every plate was a hit. Highly recommend for a memorable group dining experience! Thank-you Ellie for your exceptional service to all our group. What a rock-star!!!
