Charles MooreI don’t write reviews for restaurants because I’m a lousy writer and taste is subjective. However, I will make an exception for North Beach because the food, the ambience, and the staff were first rate! If you eat in the Mediterranean style or follow the Mediterranean diet, this is the place to go! I would also like to mention the staff, Oscar the host, and his staff in the kitchen, create an experience which I describe as a work of art! On a side note, the Greek Beer ain’t bad either. I included a few photos to wet your appetite… enjoy!
Teck BoonVery nice seating area inside the restaurant. There’s also a few tables outside for when the weather is good. Food takes a while to prepare but they are very nicely done. Staff are also very friendly and attentive. Service is efficient and prompt. Great to dine in as a group or takeaway is very nicely packed too.
Natalie HaddadWOW! what an experience we stumbled upon this hidden gem and were so glad we did the hospitality, the cleanliness, the atmosphere and the food everything was on point! Oscar the owner took time to introduce himself and get to know us he is a very clear representation of Mediterranean hospitality he gave us baklava and some amazing fermented fennel hummus and some other dips that were all so delicious. You can clearly see his passion and that he loves what he does. We got the lentil soup which was perfect on this rainy day! We got the mixed grill portion was great and tasted good too and the fries were spiced perfectly! So glad we ended up coming here today and will definitely be coming back soon in the near future with some friends or family :)
Brett BartonWe eat a lot of gyros all across the country. This place has some of the BEST lamb I've ever had. I'm stingy about the way my lamb is cooked. Here, they slow cook the lamb so well that it comes out flaky and flavorful. Also, the main guy, Apo, is such a sincere, nice guy who genuinely cares about his craft and his customers. I can't recommend this place enough! You must come here and try out for yourselves!
