The designer really took the time to understand my needs and created a layout that maximized both style and function. Every detail was thoughtfully planned and tailored perfectly to my space. When it came time for installation, the installer was punctual, courteous, and clearly took pride in their work. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were outstanding — everything fits beautifully and looks amazing. I couldn’t be happier with the results. We recently moved into a home and had two basement closets redone by “Closets by Design”. The previous closets were dark, creepy and dungeon like . The finished product in both bedrooms are amazing, so much better. The salesperson in Barrie “Daykota” was so easy to work with and I felt like I had known her for years. I highly recommend if you need any closet work to be done. We chose something very simple but are very pleased with results.

Jennifer, the designer, was the only person (of all the companies I contacted) who actually visited my home to understand the space, listen to what I wanted, bring samples, take measurements, and provide a quote on the spot. That level of genuine, attentive service is rare these days, and I appreciated it immensely. She was kind, professional, and supportive throughout the entire process, right through to the hand-off for installation scheduling. When renovation delays forced me to reschedule, Monica handled everything with patience and ease. I also loved that they offered an additional pre-installation visit to re-measure and ensure every detail was perfect—such a thoughtful touch. The installer, working solo, was fantastic: efficient, courteous, and clearly skilled. He completed my closet, built-in desk nook, and under-stairs storage over two days with minimal disruption and left everything spotless. The quality is excellent, the service outstanding, and the product selection impressive. I will absolutely use them again for future custom projects—I wouldn’t even consider another company.
