I went here hoping to get some of the cutest clothes that I saw online. I come here and the workers are rude. The vibe in this store is so solemn, and the workers will follow you around. Selling second hand clothes for the price that it’s at is absurd. Hoping to come back to something more welcoming next time. 🥲

If I was able to leave no stars, I would have. I truly enjoy supporting local businesses, vintage/ antique shops, and resale stores as well. I’ve been fortunate to travel through 46 states within the United States doing the same. I’ve never felt so isolated or insulted as I did entering this store, Clothing Loft, in Lafayette, Louisiana. No one greeted me with a “hi”, “welcome to Clothing Loft”, or anything other acknowledgment besides looking at me as if I didn’t belong here. I never feel obligated to do business with anyone who feels my money looks like it’s a different color, as such as it does with the tone of my flesh. Thanks Clothing Loft for allowing me to take your business off of my lists of resale stores to visit.

It's so funny how the reviews here document years of poor customer service and nothing ever changes 🤣 I don't shop here often because the vibes are so bad. The prices are good and they have cute stuff for sure, but don't come here expecting a welcoming vibe. One of the workers is pretty snippy about the furs? Today I was talking with a friend here about how shopping for furs second hand is ethical and I think one of the workers overheard me and thought I said it was "unethical", she got kind of sassy saying "they've been dead for years! Some of these coats are 30 years old! The animals aren't using them anymore!" No reason for the input miss girl 😭 eavesdropping and then interjecting in such an uncomfortable way is embarrassing, especially when I wasn't even being disrespectful about the furs.

Cute store. It’s giving vintage vibes with modern pieces. I love all the sparkly things in the store. I’m giving 2 stars bc I walked in and there was 1 couple in there as far as customers go. I was never greeted and never acknowledged by the 2 women who were sitting/standing at the desk chit chatting. That’s not how you welcome your customers. That’s the most basic thing customer service wise and if you can’t even greet me than I’ll go elsewhere to shop. On a side note, I also wasn’t impressed with the prices in the store for the quality of items. For example: $80 for a torn and ratty Ann Taylor blouse that looked like it came out of Y2K is not a reasonable price for the quality of the item your are selling. Lots of cute other things in the store that deserved the prices they had but also too many old/ratty things priced too high for what they are; even at a “used” clothing store.
