Graham WattsA lovely relaxed cafe in the centre of Newbury. The food doesn't have the same massed produced feel to it that many larger chains do. I particularly love their brown sauce, its not your normal HP variety and makes a lovely change. So I would highly recommend things like their bacon or sausage baps which are already delicious to go with the sauce. The coffee is well made and tastes good having had a variety over recent visits and the cakes are delicious too regardless of which I've had.

Staff have always been friendly to me and on a number of my stops I have noticed how engaged they are with customers specifically an older lady I see often which I think is lovely every time.
